Lukoi Puppies
Our dogs are pets first and members of the family so we only plan to breed the occasional litter. All Lukoi puppies will leave us after 8 weeks, at which point they will be mircochipped and have had their first vaccination. We will also endevour to remove any rear dew claws the puppies may have*. Each puppy will leave with a puppy pack, containing the following:
- Some basic puppy care guidlines
- A small bag of puppy food
- A CD with photos / videos of the puppy as they grow
- A Registration certificate with the Northern Inuit Society
- A years free membership with the Northern Inuit Society
- A 3 generation pegigree certificate
- 4 weeks insurance with PetPlan
- A small blanket that has been with them for a few days before leaving
Visitors will be welcome from 3 weeks of age and you will be able to pick your puppy at 5 weeks when there is more of an idea on personality. If you plan on coming to visit, please contact us first.
*Due to circumatances, Raina's pups have only had the non-jointed "double" dew claw removed. They still have their jointed rear dew claws. Since she had a C-Section on December 31st, the choice was to either have both dew claws removed there and then (which would have been stressful on the pups) or wait until the vets were open again to have them removed properly. Unfortuately, the vets were closed for the following two days, which would have been a bit too late. We therefore decided to only have the non-jointed "double" dew claws removed there and then, as it would be the least stress on the pups.
2012 Litters
In October 2011, we mated Raina to Raven of Mahlek Kennels. The litter was due on New Year's Eve.
Sadly, there were complication with the birth and Raina needed an emergency C-Section.
She had 5 puppies, but unfortuately, only 2 survived the operation. Needless to say, this is the only litter that we will have with Raina.
We already had a full waiting list for this litter, so both pups are spoken for.
